terms of service

1. Scope
   These terms and conditions apply to all services, especially tattoo services, provided at Fortet Studio, 3600 Thun, by Sebastian Lewenhagen or a team member. By scheduling an appointment, the client agrees to these terms.

2. Appointments & Deposits
   Appointments are binding and usually require a deposit (amount communicated individually). The deposit will be credited toward the final appointment but is non-refundable—except in the case of cancellation by the studio or an emergency.
   
   

3. Cancellations & Delays
   Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Later cancellations will result in the forfeiture of the deposit. In cases of no-show or significant delays (30+ minutes), the appointment may be canceled without replacement.
   
   

4. Proof of Age
   Tattooing minors is not permitted. A valid government-issued photo ID must be presented at the first appointment. In case of doubt, we reserve the right to decline the appointment.
   
   

5. Health & Liability
   Clients are required to disclose any relevant health conditions (e.g. allergies, blood thinners, skin conditions, pregnancy) beforehand. The studio is not liable for consequences arising from incomplete or incorrect information.
   The client is solely responsible for aftercare and healing. No guarantee can be given regarding the final result.
   
   

6. Aftercare Instructions
   Aftercare instructions are provided verbally and in writing. The studio is not liable for complications or quality issues resulting from non-compliance.
   
   

7. Payment
   Payment is made directly at the studio. All prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF).
   
   

8. Copyright & Image Material
   Tattoo designs, especially custom-made ones, are protected by copyright. Any reuse, reproduction, or imitation without written consent is prohibited. The studio reserves the right to use photos of completed tattoos for documentation and promotional purposes.
   
   

9. Disclaimer
   The studio assumes no liability for allergic reactions, post-treatment bleeding, poor healing, or self-inflicted damage.

10. Deposits
    Initial Deposit (CHF 100–200):
    To secure your appointment, an initial deposit of CHF 100 to 200 is required. This amount is non-refundable and will be applied to the final cost of your tattoo.Rescheduling:
    
    You may reschedule your appointment by notifying us at least 48 hours in advance. Your deposit will be transferred to your new date. Late rescheduling or no-shows will result in the loss of your deposit.

11. Cancellation
    Client-Initiated Cancellations: Deposits are non-refundable in case of client-initiated cancellations.Studio-Initiated Cancellations:If we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, your deposit can be transferred to a new date or refunded upon request.

12. Satisfaction
    No Refunds: As tattoos are permanent, we do not offer refunds based on dissatisfaction. We encourage open communication during the design and tattooing process to ensure your vision is met.Complimentary Touch-Ups:I offer one free touch-up within 6 months of your tattoo session—provided aftercare instructions were followed. If poor aftercare is the reason for the touch-up, additional charges may apply.
